My diet has been up and down during the week.  I had a few cheats on Mother's Day and waking up late caused me not to take a lunch to work so I bought mall food.  Blech.  But my calories were still pretty good.  I didn't work out as much as I should have though. 

So as a result I didn't lose any weight.  I am still 163.

So... in the spirit of honesty. 

I won't go through the boring list of what I ate except to say that I DID splurge on a chocolately latte' today.  My caloric intake wasn't bad at, 1785, but it could have been a little lower. 

For exercise I've been doing the Chalean Extreme program and I'm in the second phase.  The idea is to lift heavy weight very slowly and fail in 8 reps, at which I excel.  I did my Push Phase 1 workout and an extra workout for abs (which is killer, my tummy is BURNING).  Tomorrow is... an off day actually.  I plan to workout anyway... something not in the Chalean Program.. maybe a run if it's not raining.

Hello!  This is my first time posting in this room.  A friend of mine who is also a member of this group suggested I join and here I am.  I've been working on losing weight and become a more fit being over the passed year and a bit.  I've had pretty decent success.  I was 220 when I started and today I'm 163.  This was actually a bit of a surprise as I haven't worked regularly in 3 weeks.  I DID decrease my caloric intake to make up for the fact that I wasn't working out.  It wasn't hard.  I was sick and didn't really want to eat.  I was 168 at the beginning of April. 

My ultimate goal is to reach... somewhere in the range of 130 - 140.  When I was younger and I was thin I was able to maintain a 128 - 132 range.  It's been a long time and I've had the last of puberty and three kids in that time.  I honestly have no idea what my women body looks like so that's why I give myself such a wide range. 

My short term goal is to reach 160 by the end of the month. 

I'm short, 5'2", and relatively thick in build. 

Thanks for having me here with all of you to share and keep myself accountable.  It's such an awesome and valuable tool for me in my fitness goals.
